We will begin with a yin practice, guided through the poses to explore the body with reverence of self, feeling our sensations and emotions. Following Yoga, we will learn tension-melting facial gua sha to support lymphatic flow, a simple yet potent practice that serves as a map for creating a natural rhythm within ourselves. Finally, we will continue to explore our celestial bodies with a 35-minute Tea Ceremony. Our guide Maharlika will lead her practice of ritual tea and sharing her reflections on planetary alignments and reading her latest published work.
The Taosist practices of Yin Yoga, gua sha and tea invite us to slow down and notice the beauty that is around and within us in the ordinary moments.
