Plant your seed of intention for the new year. Community tea to follow.
The start of another year offers the opportunity for new beginnings. In the western tradition, new year’s resolutions are often born out of self-criticism and fraught with the need for self-control. Rather, in this special practice, we infuse this auspicious time with eastern philosophy by setting a sankalpa - a seed of intention from your most heartfelt desire. We’ll turn inward for self-reflection and envision our path ahead with self-compassion and respect. A mindful slow flow yoga practice will be followed by an extended meditation and sankalpa setting. Sangha (community) tea and merriment with your fellow yogis will follow.
