Bhakti Yoga Training

Coming 2025

OVERVIEW

In this 36 hour training we will explore the concepts and practices of Bhakti Yoga. Students will learn how to create and lead classes with a devotional intention. In addition to gaining knowledge of Bhakti Yoga Philosophy students will develop their voice in preparation for offering chanting as a part of their classes.

GOALS

To understand Bhakti Yoga as one of the 4 paths of Yoga
To learn how to incorporate Bhakti Yoga philosophy into group and private yoga offerings

Weekend One

History of Bhakti Yoga
Philosophy and Application

Weekend Two

Cultural Appropriation to Appreciation
Hindu Mythology - Gods and Goddesses

Weekend Three

Chanting - Sharing Your Voice
Harmonium Basics - Tuning Your Instrument

Completion

Create and lead 3 Bhakti Yoga classes. Each student will be required to develop classes that follow the guidelines of Bhakti Yoga, record them teaching 2 and lead 1 in person to a group of 5 or more students.

The cost of this training is based on 24 contact hours at $50 per hour and 12 non-contact hours of outside study and prep.
